Managing Director

Chris brings 43 years of experience to his role as Managing Director, having joined Gage-Wiley in 1982 and becoming President, CEO, and CCO in 1986. In 1994, he founded Gage-Wiley’s investment advisory affiliate, New England Capital, which later merged into St. Germain Investment Management. After selling Gage-Wiley and merging operations with St. Germain in 2019, Chris now manages the Gage-Wiley office and serves on the St. Germain Investment Management team while working with a select list of longtime clients. He holds significant nonprofit experience in education, healthcare, and the arts, having served as former Chair of the Eric Carle Museum and past trustee of Hampshire College, Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, and Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Chris earned his BA from Hampshire College, MEd from UMass, and completed postgraduate work in Organizational Development. When not working, he enjoys maintaining his family’s 60-acre property with extensive gardens, fields, and woodlands.
